Teme Valley Heritage Engineers (TVHE) are a West Midlands based traditional millwrights and engineering company.

 These range from specialist building conservation, repair, refurbishment and maintenance services, as well as surveys, inspection, recording, feasibility and consultancy on aspects ranging from planning through all aspects of restoration and conservation to sensitive new build. 

We also have experience in using mill sites for micro Hydro generation ,from site survey and feasibility studies through to installation and regular maintenance.

Director Adam Marriott has over 25 years of millwrighting experience, starting his own business in 2006.

We have been involved with over 50 mills including some of West Midlands famous or better known attractions, including:

Teme Valley Heritage work to the SPAB philosophy of repair, placing the historical and technical integrity of the mill as a high priority. We ensure any repairs undertaken are sympathetic, as our primary aim is preserving mills as working machines that will survive for future generations to study and enjoy. The repair and restoration of mills should only be taken on by those with specialist knowledge and experience, in order to ensure both their historical integrity and longevity and safety in operation.

Adam is a qualified agricultural engineer and is supported by a network of other craft specialists including blacksmiths, small foundries, woodworkers and many others.
